Beef cattle have been a tradition for multiple generations of the Sanders family. The Sanders family settled in the Starkville, MS, area in the late 1800's from South Carolina and were pioneers in the Mississippi beef cattle industry. David Sanders worked in the beef cattle industry for years prior to starting his own cattle company, Sanders Farms, in 1987. David and his wife Linda live in Starkville. Their children, Scott, Leslie, and Will, have all been around cattle their entire lives and are knowledgeable about the family business. The beef cattle business is in their blood. Through the years DS Cattle and Sanders Farms have serviced customers across the Texas Panhandle and into Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. They buy and sell cattle in the southern region and typically sell to customers in the west and northwest. The DS Cattle web site will build on that long tradition by offering enhanced services and opportunities to customers through direct sales and services to customers in the beef cattle industry.
